Lily Allen’s lyrics are amusing. She sings sharp painful things with cheerful melodies. She is from England and her father is a comedian/actor, Keith Allen. She became popular through her talent by publishing her songs on My Space. As soon as she released this first album in July, 2006, her single “Smile” reached number 1 on the UK single chart. “smile”、これ最近よくラジオで流れてるわ。失恋した時に聞くと吹っ切れるかもね。もう一つの曲”ALFIE”は先に歌詞を読んで、「うちの息子が大きくなって、こいつみたいな引きこもりのニートになったらイッライラするな～もう～っ！」と思って曲を聞くと明るくてかわいいメロディで拍子抜けしたわ（笑）。でもアニメーションの中のパジャマ姿でコンピューターゲームしてる弟くんにはやっぱりイライラするっ！
Love this album and so thanks to you and your sister-in-law! I went running this weekend and listened to it almost three full times. The tunes are very catchy.
